Life can be a bit of a rollercoaster, one day, you’re on top of the world, and the next, you’re feeling like you’ve hit rock bottom. In those darker times, it’s easy to get lost in the shadows. But here’s the good news: you have the power to bring in the light, not just for yourself, but for others too. This isn’t just about lighting candles or soaking up the sun (though those things help!), but about embracing practices that nourish your mind, body, and spirit.
What does “light” mean? It’s more than just the light that we can see with our eyes. It’s the energy, positivity, and healing that we bring into our lives, it is our internal flame, and this internal glow, is one that you can share with the people around you.
There is a saying that “You can’t pour from an empty cup”, and it’s true! Before you can spread light to others, you need to find and kindle it within yourself. This doesn’t mean you need to be a beacon 24/7, life happens, and it’s okay to feel down sometimes. But having the tools to bring yourself back to the light makes all the difference.
Meditation is a powerful way to reconnect with your inner light. You can build your meditation practice by starting with just a few minutes a day can help clear the mental clutter and remind you of the peace that’s always within reach. You can also join me for my weekly online guided meditation that will help you to get into the routine of meditating regularly.
Get outside! Whether it’s a walk in the park, a hike, or just sitting under a tree reading, nature has a way of recharging your batteries and grounding you.
Taking time to focus on what you’re thankful for can shift your perspective from what’s lacking to what’s abundant in your life. This is a simple way reignite your inner light when it feels dim.
Once you’ve cultivated your own light, it naturally flows out to those around you. Sometimes, people just need to be heard. By truly listening, without judgment or trying to fix their problems, you can offer a light that soothes and comforts.
If you’ve found something that works for you, like meditation or a specific ritual, share it! Invite a friend to join you, or simply share your experience. You never know how it might help someone else.
If you’re into practices like Reiki, crystal healing, or even just offering a calming presence, use these skills to help others. If you’re not trained I offer powerful classes so that you can become an Ensofic Reiki practitioner, or use crystals for healing.
The beautiful thing about light is that it spreads. When you work on bringing in the light for yourself, it naturally extends to those around you, creating a ripple effect. This isn’t just about making yourself and others feel good, it’s about creating a more positive, connected, and compassionate world.
